van Gogh Inspired Art Contest

On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, Vincent Willem van Gogh, a relative of famous painter Vincent van Gogh, will speak at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, Michigan at the annual West Michigan Dutch-American Heritage Day Celebration. In previous years, as part of the celebration, there has been an essay contest. Given the speaker, this year’s contest will be based on art. Students may submit “van Gogh inspired” artwork for judging by a panel of art critics.

The contest is open to middle school, high school, and college students located in West Michigan.

Deadline is October 27, 2017.
