Lecture: The Origin of the Groningen Landscape: From Sea to Land in 2600 Years

Dr. Meijles is a physical geographer at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. He specializes in landscape history and earth and environmental sciences. He is also an expert on gas extraction and its related earthquakes in the Groningen region.

This lecture is sponsored by the Frederik Meijer Chair in Dutch Langauge and Culture.
